Head of Sales

About the role
Due to internal movement, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Sales to join our growing team, based at our head office in Mascot NSW. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, this role will shape and deliver the next phase of commercial growth for Herbs of Gold. You will lead our national field team, key account managers, outbound and training function to accelerate revenue, expand market share, and strengthen
margin performance across domestic and export channels. This is a rare opportunity to step into a true ownership role with full Australian Sales P&L accountability. The foundations are in place and our brand is strong – we are looking for a leader who can sharpen execution, align teams, and take our commercial performance to the next level.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
- Owning and delivering the Australian Sales P&L, including revenue growth, trade spend and margin optimisation
- Defining and executing a clear multi-channel growth strategy across pharmacy, health food, and export
- Leading high-level commercial negotiations with key national customers
- Building, coaching, and inspiring a high-performing field and key account team
- Delivering annual budgets and business plans aligned to company strategy
- Driving disciplined execution, clear KPIs and strong return on promotional investment
- Partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Regulatory and Training to ensure aligned and successful launches
- Representing the business at key industry events and strengthening our presence in market
About you
You are a commercially astute and confident sales leader who knows how to grow revenue while protecting margin. You bring clarity, momentum and accountability to your teams and are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
Ideally, you will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in senior commercial or sales leadership
- Demonstrated ANZ channel management experience
- Experience in regulated consumer health, OTC or complementary medicine is highly regarded
- A strong track record of negotiating large, complex customer agreements
- Experience leading teams of 15 to 20+ people
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a strong drive for results
Technical & NPD Associate

About the role
We are on the search for a Technical & New Product Development Associate to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Technical & NPD Manager, this role involves technical and copy writing, evidence and indication substantiation, product formulation, product dossier maintenance and the preparation of education materials. This role requires a passion for health and wellness, and an ability to interpret and monitor TGA guidelines and provide sound technical advice to stakeholders.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
- Interpreting and implementing TGA/FSANZ evidence guidelines for evidence and indication substantiation
- Technical and marketing support across technical sheets, product detailers and ingredient information
- Pharmacovigilance, monitoring adverse reactions
- Naturopathic support to internal and external parties
- Contribution to product formulation
- Educational content creation including webinars, product training and online training modules
About you
Our ideal candidate will be a professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the complementary medicine sector. They will have a tertiary qualification in Naturopathy or a related field, possess a growth mindset with an adaptable and collaborative approach to working, and be comfortable working in a small team.
